Shari Hills works from her garden studio in South East Cornwall. Her watercolour paintings are inspired by nature and sometimes involve the addition of handmade papers collaged onto the paper surface to create texture or the use of inks or crayons to develop depth and atmosphere.
Shari teaches regular watercolour classes and workshops in Saltash and St Dominick, (Cornwall) and Plympton St Maurice and Horrabridge (Devon) as well as residential painting breaks at Dillington House in Somerset. She also demonstrates and leads workshops for art groups and societies.
Currently you can see more of her work at the Duchy Square Centre in Princetown, Devon, and ISCA Gallery in Budleigh Salterton, Devon.
Shari has a solo exhibition from 9th February to 28th March 2012 at Ashtorre Rock, Old Ferry Rd, Waterside, Saltash, Cornwall. PL12 4G7.
